It’s Saturday Twofers again…..Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?

Musical Stylings – I grew up listening to Polka music and big band music so when I saw these little critters I immediately thought of all the horns in a big band.

Everone needs a little tutu….

When I saw this Elizabeth Delumba image I just had to do her up! What an adorable little girl with her dreams written all over her face.

I colored her with my Copics and added some pearl and organza ribbon. The stitching is a rub-on. Now I think I’m going to have to dig out that tutu and give it a twirl…..hehe now didn’t that paint a pretty picture?

Christmas is coming and this Cat is getting fat……..

We are down to the wire – our Nick will be 13 on Tuesday, we just spent the weekend with ear plugs and hiding in our room as several teenage boys took over the downstairs, the kitchen, the big screen and played video games to the wee hours, ate us out of house and home and I think my ears are still ringing, except that I can’t hear anything LOL

We are now getting ready to put up the Christmas decorations (I wanted to wait until the teenagers were done wrecking the house LOL) and I am feeling more like Fluffles the cat. All worn out and hanging by a thread LOL. Does everyone else have their decorations up? I tried to talk my hubby out of them this year LOL but it was a HUGE no go. Don’t get me wrong I love the holidays but I do not like having to rearrange the house for a month to just get to do it again after the first of the year. Thank goodness I got all my deep cleaning done for Thanksgiving LOL!!

All the places I like to play have a ton of Ssssss’s hehehe – like:

Spotlight Saturday:

The Challenge this week is Christmas Flowers and our sponsor is none other than Joni over at Inktegrity. Joni has some of the cutest images around and I just love this cranberry martini – the image I mean, oh ok who am I fooling I love the actual martini(s) itself too. Hiccup!! For this little thirst quencher I used liquid glass, I mean how appropriate, yes? And I added some of the gold Micah Expressions for the sugar rim and berries. The handwriting is my own and the lovely flower is a lovely Flora Doodle. Hmmm Yummy!! What kind of flowers do you think of when you are drinking? um I mean stamping *hiccup* hehe

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

Our challenge this week is “All About Me”. These are photos of me when I was about three. They look to be Sepia tones but someone added color like the center of the daisy and the blue in my eyes. I thought they were pretty cool. I found them in my Grandma’s photos. I kept with the theme of polka dots and created my own background on the four photo page of this two page spread by stamping small background polka dots on the frames bigger frames in blue and then in brown on the background layer. Hop on over to Scrap and Stamp and share your “All About Me” page – I personally can’t wait to learn more about you!
